You Have All The Winnings, But To What end?

Have you ever longed to be king of the world? Perhaps king of industry. Or maybe king of your household. Or maybe just to win at something, anything. To make you feel special, wanted, noticed, liked, listened to.

Now you have all the winnings, but to what end? Where does it lead you? It’s a moment. A flash in the pan. Compared to the length of time in the Universe, it’s nothing at all.

A Rich Guy at the Gates of Heaven

In my last blog, I wondered what it might be like to someone really rich and famous to try to get into Heaven. It wouldn’t be easy. The ego mind looks at the world and sees conflict, and conquer. But none of that thinking will work in Heaven. I know this because I’ve been there; to Heaven I mean.

Heaven, which is what we are all truly longing for, is not to be found in money, control, demand, or conflict. What we are all longing for is Home, which cannot be found in our demands for more money, more followers, more capital gain, wars, and winning arguments.

The Holy Instant

Sit for a moment and wonder what it might be like if you were not in conflict for just a tiny bit of time. A Holy Instant. Look beyond the need for admiration, or for an accomplishment here in this life.

God certainly isn’t impressed with any of your so-called won battles. God is only impressed with your reflection of God-Love. God doesn’t care if you make a mistake and become homeless. And God doesn’t care if you become the wealthiest person on Earth.

All God cares about is that you use your ‘free will’ to expand God’s Love, which is our original idea. There isn’t an original sin. There is only Original Love, which is what God is.
