Here’s a simple, logical thought: If I can make God angry, then God isn’t real.

According to MathPlanet: When we [discuss] inductive reasoning we [base] our reasoning on examples and on data from earlier events. If we instead use facts, rules and definitions then it’s called deductive reasoning.

As an example:

If you get good grades then you will get into a good college.

The part after the “if”: you get good grades – is called a [hypothesis] and the part after the “then” – you will get into a good college – is called a conclusion.

Hypotheses followed by a conclusion [are] called an if-then statement or a conditional statement. This is noted as: p→q

This is read – if p then q.

A conditional statement is false if [the] hypothesis is true and the conclusion is false. The example above would be false if it said “if you get good grades then you will not get into a good college”.

Simple Logic for a Simple God

I’m using this simple math equation to show that God, and the notion of God can only be loving, and therefore cannot offer anger, sadness, hostility, punishment or anything other than love.

If you have read anything I’ve ever written about spirituality, you know that I am not a fan of the Christian Bible. To me, it is filled with conflicting ideas, and symbols that have little place in reflecting God. But in this case, I’ll start my deductive reasoning with the following bible quote from 1 John 4:7– 8 “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.”

If John 4:7– 8 is the truth, then God is Love.

I could go on and on with Bible quotes that say something similar, and that God is all knowing, all powerful and with God all things are possible, etc. But establishing that God is Love is enough to make my point: God encompasses only Love, and there is no anger in a completely Loving mind.

If God is Love, then God cannot be angry.

If the above statement is true, then the following statement must also be true.

If God cannot be angry, then nothing I say, think or do can make God angry.

Again, if that statement is true, then the following statement must also be true.

If anything I say, think or do can make God angry, then God isn’t real.

My Experiences Through the Eyes of Christ

The reason I’m writing this is to help us all understand the true nature of God. On some occasions I have been blessed with seeing the world, or experiencing The Love of God, from the point of view of the Holy Spirit, or through the Eyes of Christ.

From those experiences, I can tell you with complete sincerity that God cannot be angry. It simply isn’t possible.

Know this to be true as well: God has already judged you to be perfect in Spirit. As an ego bouncing around on a little blue-green marble in space (or a green-blue disc depending on your dream), you are not perfect. We are all flawed and insane, clinging to idols that offer us nothing in return.

Set all your judgements aside and accept that God has already judged you, as God created you, as an extension of God-Love. And realize this to be the Truth: God offers only Love, because that is what God is.

Hey, do me a favor: Read my book. It’s a book of fiction about the nature of God-Love. You might like it, and I could use the attention.
